THREE POINT STUDIOS is an independent production company based in San Diego, specializing in high-quality narrative and documentary storytelling. From pre-production through post, we collaborate with artists, brands, and writers to bring bold ideas to the screen.Our mission is to champion original stories and emerging voices by producing independent films that resonate with audiences and festivals alike. We balance creative service work with our own in-house projects, building a studio known for its craft, collaboration, and commitment to meaningful storytelling.
What We Do
At Three Point Studios, we’re an independent film collective focused on telling bold, character-driven stories. From the first draft of a script to the final color pass, we handle every stage of production with care and intention.• Development & Production – We collaborate on story development, casting, scheduling, and logistics to bring ideas to life efficiently and creatively.• Cinematography & Lighting – With a strong eye for composition and visual tone, we craft imagery that elevates narrative and documentary projects, shaping the emotional core of every frame.• Sound & Atmosphere – Audio is treated as part of the storytelling, from clean dialogue to immersive soundscapes that enhance mood and tension.• Editing & Post – Our post-production process shapes raw footage into cohesive, festival-ready films, ensuring the final piece is polished, impactful, and true to its story.

Self Storage — Short Film (In Pre-Production, 2025)
A psychological horror short about grief, secrecy, and the memories we try to bury. Self Storage follows Elena, a young woman confronting the haunting weight of loss inside the confined walls of a storage facility. The film combines atmospheric visuals with minimal dialogue, leaning on tension and symbolism to deliver an unsettling festival-ready narrative. Produced and developed in-house by Three Point Studios.
How We Love — Promotional Teaser (In Pre-Production, 2025)
In collaboration with playwright Coza Joy, Three Point Studios is producing a promotional teaser for How We Love, a new stage play. By blending cinematic storytelling with theatrical performance, this project demonstrates our studio’s versatility and commitment to supporting local artists across mediums.
Colors We Carry — Documentary (In Development, 2026)
A San Diego–based community arts documentary exploring mural culture, identity, and representation through the work of Ground Floor Murals and other local artists. Colors We Carry captures the voices of artists and communities whose stories are painted into the city’s walls, highlighting how public art shapes legacy and belonging. An original Three Point Studios production, currently in development and early fundraising stages.
